Word of mouth was exactly the way I heard about “The Red Hot Chili Peppers” back in the day. Won’t be at this show, but thanks for the dibs on the band. I love finding about bands I’ve never heard of before and this is one I like, a lot.
And wow – you did the editing on the Sea Red video? Very good. Fantastic, in fact,. I’m impressed and I’m really very, VERY picky when it comes to editing. I know you directed a short back in 2007, but do you see yourself directing a feature sometime in the future? And if so, what would be your genre?
Interesting and enjoyable vocals, mixed not-so-gently at times with the music, making for a genuine emotional experience. Amazing how music, lyrics, and video can all bring about responses steeped in the past, present, and yes, even the future.
It has a catchy issue, but you should never see music visually.
Music works best if you listen and see the clip. Music is not seen, it is heard,
If you cant see the music with your eyes closed then the video wont make it. I feel it has potential, but if it cant be seen with eyes closed, then it wont win with eyes open,
I see what happened visually. You truly have a knack for a raw, and ultimately interesting vision. The new version of “Sea Red” is beautifully Playboy with perfect lighting and perfect glam shots, but the video doesn’t tell as much about the band as you did with your version – editors are truly the directors.
Are you doing any concert footage?
Good momentum and mix to the song. And, nice grainy vid with slight southern feel and perfect editing. I’m sold.
Phenomenal performance. Rain is earthy yet ethereal. Were you involved in editing of performance vids? Either way, seamless.

Cool! So will you be editing a new video or something of the likes for them?
Thanks for the vid., J.S.
