Slightly different fare from OLEANNA. Check it Out.

Heh. I’ll be prepping for a colonoscopy Monday, November 9th.
Wanna trade?
No, thank you.
Yeah, I’m not getting a lot of takers. I don’t know why.
Anyway, break a leg.
Looks AWESOME! but unfortunately a bit too expensive for me right now. Have a blast!
24 Hour Plays: Pre-Gaming

So how’d the plays go? It was too far to travel from Australia to see them!
It was thrilling. I lucked out and got a script written by Theresa Rebeck (who has a play on Broadway now called “The Understudy”), and got to work with Gaby Hoffman, Jeremy Sisto and Demi Moore. When the writing is good, everything else seems to fall into place.
I should write a post about it when I come up for air… for now back to Oleanna.
Sounds brilliant. I think when the actors are great it helps a lot too! I’m looking forward to seeing Oleanna (8th Dec), the reviews have been excellent so well done. I just hope it’s not freezing in New York. We’re having a heat wave down here (Melbourne, it’s like 90 degrees plus every day.
How did it go?
Any video footage from The 24HR.Plays?
Sounds very interesting!
How much longer is Oleanna running? What cities are you touring? You should post them here.
No footage, sorry. That’s kind of the beauty of live theater, it’s ephemeral and fleeting.
Oleanna will run in NYC until Jan 3rd. No tour, that’ll be it for us.
Julia,
What an amazing concept 24hr plays is! That had to be a thrilling experience. For the writers to have a deadline and have to race the clock to finish the product has to be nerve racking. Meanwhile from a actors point of view I’m sure in the back of your head your thinking, I hope this turns out good and I don’t make a fool of myself. I enjoy challenges like that in my work, at the sometimes impatient age of 31 it often reminds me to enjoy the moment, that I’m alive inside, and that passion fuels the fire to keep moving forward without skipping a beat. I just wanted to say that your effort towards charity didn’t go unnoticed, education is important and a passion of mine also, I am glad you are helping out where you can.
My personal email is a part of the blog submission, I would enjoy chatting more in private. I have always been a fan of your acting but more importantly your political and community efforts as well.
